ASR64 autonomic controller of the electromagnetic tapping point
Application
ASR64 controller is a part of the system that controls access to rooms and buildings. It works with a door lock or with an electromagnetic catch pawl installed in the entry of a room.
The principle of operation
If there is a transponder of a UNIQUE type in the field of the module's inner aerial (in a distance not less than 10cm), then a microprocessor compares such a transponder's code to the codes written in non-volatile module's memory. When it finds an identical code, then it provides the relay (placed in the module) with voltage and, consequently, makes the electromagnetic latch work.
Entering transponders' codes to memory and the change of relay's maintenance time happen when using a special transponder, a so-called MASTER (look at the manual).
Construction
ASR64 controller is constructed as an electronic module built on one laminate. The module, set in a plastic cage, is covered up with silicon in order to protect it from unfavorable weather conditions. There are three wires (optionally 4 or 5) coming from the module. By the means of those wires, the module is supplied and it steers an electromagnetic catch pawl.
ASR64 controller is delivered with connecting wires of the length of 1 m. It enables to install the controller e.g. outside the building; the connection can be made through a hole in the wall. It can also be made in a plastic cage by shortening the wires and using three single connection blocks 1.5 mm2. ARS64 controller is also available in a form of a small module available covered with silicon (without a plastic cage), making it possible to install the controller in hidden places.
