ROP42 addressing manual alarm call point

Application

With ROP42 addressing manual alarm call point equipped with MAR42 module it is possible to raise the alarm in case of noticing fire. ROP42 works in the AFS42 central set watch line and is equipped with a short-circuit insulator.

 

 

Construction

ROP42 is equipped with MAR42 addressing module. On the printed circuit board of MAR42 there are latches by means of which the base is connected to the watch line. One pair of latches marked + – serves to connect the input line, while the other pair – to connect the output line. By means of the latch marked with E it is possible to connect both screens of the two wires.

The principle of operation

MAR42 electronic set recognizes two ROP42 states: its absence and alarm state. MAR42 module has a unique address encoded in a given AFS42 system – from 1 to 99. AFS42 central set „asks” each ROP42 connected to it three times a second and it receives „replies” with all the states. Basing on the information received, MAR42 makes decisions resulting from the system's configuration. Breaking the glass and, consequently, pressing the button in ROP42 alarm call point raises the alarm seen by AFS42 central set as first degree alarm. ROP42 has a short-circuit insulator set placed on MAR42 printed circuit. The information on the state of the insulator is not given to the central set while “asking” the base. However, basing on the one-side answers, the central set is able to localize which of the ROP42 call points have their insulators disconnected. ROP42, in which the insulator is disconnected, is supplied and “seen” by the central set from the side without short-ciruit.
